Impact
The third part of our vision statement is Impact. We desire to impact our community and world by serving others in the name of Jesus Christ. It is the vision of a church where we are all making a difference.
We partner with Nazarene Missions International (NMI), our denominational missions organization, and with local agencies serving the Kirkland/ Seattle area. As Christ’s followers we have the joyful privilege of participating with Him in bringing hope to all His people.
A LOCAL CONGREGATION
As a local congregation – not just a global church – we are actively engaged in providing opportunities for our people to participate in ministry outside our church walls. Our people are involved in acts of compassion to all races and nations – to the lost and hurting in our neighborhood and around the world. EASTSIDE TENT CITY
Tent City is a temporary encampment of homeless adults that moves to a different location on the Eastside approximately every 90 days. Life Community provides a hot meal to the 100 residents of Tent City monthly. Join the crew as they prepare and serve our well-known biscuits and gravy on the first Thursday of the month. If you’re interested in serving, let Tent City Coordinator Monique Scher know by email (Moniquescher(at)frontier.com).

Saturday, August 27th – Community Serve Day !
The church has left the building! Community Serve Day brings together local churches of different denominations and sizes to share God’s love in practical ways within our community of Kirkland. Projects will include assisting families who need help repairing their homes, helping teachers set-up their classrooms for the fall, and improving under-resourced schools with painting and landscaping.
